You're not losing weight because

You're Not Eating Eating Enough on a Regular Basis

You've got a busy life and you need food to fuel it! But... you skip breakfast because you have to rush out of the house, you get in a quick snack for lunch because you're still rushing and then you're so hungry when you get home that you eat anything you can get your hands on.

You don't necessarily like living like that that but you're so tired from rushing all day that you just go to sleep and do it all over again. 

You don't understand why you're not losing weight or maybe questioning why you're gaining weight because you barely eat all day. YOUR BODY IS IRRITATED! It doesn't take not eating to lose weight - it takes eating on a regular basis for a few reasons. 

1. You need to eat breakfast and lunch because that's when you're doing most of your stuff! You're using your brain to work and your body to move so you should be eating at these times to fuel these things! 

2. Your stomach is about the size of your fist. Instead of eating 3 or 4 meals throughout the day and giving your stomach time to digest - you're filling it up with 3 meals worth in one sitting because you're starving from not eating all day. THAT DOES NOT MAKE FOR GOOD POOPS. It just doesn't. It puts your stomach and digestive system into overload. 


 Tonight lightly plan out your next day so you have SOME idea of what you're going to eat. At this point, you don't even have to stress about what it is because your body will just appreciate the regularity of breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

For example: 

Breakfast - the night before make a protein shake if you know you don't have time to make breakfast and leave it in the fridge to snag in the morning! Scoop of protein, frozen fruit, peanut butter and milk. 

Lunch - you could pre-make a sandwich with a side you enjoy. You could make a big pot of chili to have ready to eat for a few days. You could go through the drive through and get something on the go that also has a carb, fat, and protein that will make you feel satisfied. For example: chickfila grilled chicken sandwich or chipotle bowl (I love these because they're great for lunch for 2 days if you have the right person with a heavy hand lol)

Then you can go into dinner with a clear head because you're not starving. 

I think you'll be surprised at what an impact this can have on your life. So many people get caught up on WHAT to eat that they forget that eating SOMETHING is what's really important.
